Wrapped

Printing photos to canvas requires the canvas to be wrapped around a specially designed inner wooden frame. This allows the canvas to neatly conceal the frame giving your canvas a high quality finish.

You will lose approximately 4cm around the edge of your image to wrap around the sides of the frame.  If you have any detail that you want to keep, or if you think the balance of the image will be affected by losing this detail, please choose a border instead of wrapping. 

If you are unsure, please contact us prior to placing your order and we will advise you before you place your order.  Once an order has been placed, we will assume that you have read and understood the wrapping requirements and will process your canvas as ordered.


 

Border

In order to keep all of the image on the face of the canvas, you can choose to have a border to finish your canvas around the edges of the wooden frame.  A border is recommended if detail from your image is going to be lost when wrapping around the frame.  (See WRAPPED section above.)

You can choose from a

• White Border
• Black Border
• Colour Border
  *please note if you choose a colour border, our designers will choose a coloured border that complements your image.  (Please note that generally, black or white borders work best as there can be problems matching colours from your image for a coloured border.  In such cases, we will choose a black or white border.)
